JOB DESCRIPTION

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Business & Office Administrator who has a well rounded background in office administration that includes some business management, with at least 3-5yrs experience. The candidate will have a close working relationship with the owner, provide admin support to the field staff & play a vital role in the day to day operations of the business.

• Very flexible, adaptable & comfortable with duties ranging from lower level admin tasks to high level business development & support

• Customer service and taking job requests
• Office admin & coordination, incl reception & phones
• Liaison between clients & field staff on all aspects of admin, incl job proposals/scheduling & coordination
• Accounts payable/receivable & general cashflow management
• Responsible for office housekeeping & records, incl maint of various Excel/Access databases, Word correspondence & other office documentation
• Ongoing reviews/development of systems/procedures & implement improvements
• Basic IT admin, trouble shooting & liaise with external IT consultants if req

• MYOB incl invoicing, payroll & accounts payable (but will consider alternatives)
• Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Access & Outlook
• Understanding of financial reporting

Web based skills, knowledge of Microsoft Server, some HR experience and/or knowledge about working with trees will be great advantages.

Aardvark Professional Tree Services is built on 20 years in its industry with a reputation for high quality Arboricultural works & professionalism provided to private, commercial & govt clientele.

An opportunity exists for a well organised, self motivated person who has a very good understanding of the mechanics & maintenance of small to medium plant machinery (stump grinders, wood chippers, chainsaws, blowers, hedge trimmers etc)

• Stump Grinder operator (approx 50% of the role)
• Equipment & machinery maintenance, coordination & records
• Keeping detailed inventories
• Organising the operations depot
• Liaison between on-site job staff & administration staff
• Trouble shooting & maintenance on site
• Occasional ground support to the tree crew

Truck drivers license will be a great advantage. Experience in working with a stump grinder is desired. Extra training will be provided.

This role is multi-faceted and includes both depot and field based work. Applicant must be able to work autonomously, with initiative, enjoy seeing problems as challenges and possess a 'can-do-it' attitude.

This role includes a work vehicle for on the job and commuter use

Working hours: 7.00 am - 4.00 pm, 5 days week (wknds and o/time available)

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic arborist. The candidate will have a close working relationship with the field staff and admin staff as well as play a vital role in the day to day operations of the business.

• Highly motivated & possess a "can do" attitude
• Extremely organised with tasks & time management
• Very flexible, adaptable & comfortable with duties ranging from full job management to mulch drop offs
• Minimum requirement of Certificate III in arboriculture or equivalent

• All aspects of aboriculture works
• Liaison between clients & administration staff
• Trouble shooting on site
• Finalising payments and recording job data with clients whilst on site

• Gain extra training about job scheduling and quoting
• Advance to position of field manager within a short time frame

Truck drivers license will be a great advantage.
