Although we charge to deliver wood
chip mulch, those produced from your property are yours
free to use as garden mulch if desired, but can only be
left were a truck has access to tip. Recent
research shows this type of mulch to be one of the best
performing. There are many benefits of mulching:

| Large diameter
(over 6-12”) wood is usually
crosscut to firewood lengths (10-20”).
This does not include splitting. It is
then either left in the property for firewood, or
stacked on the nature strip for collection by the
public (who have an insatiable desire for fire-wood!).
Removal off site can be arranged at an added cost,
but it is ecologically & economically
better to recycle than to tip! |

| Stumps are ground until only roots
remain (may be limited by obstacles) to a max. of
12-20” deep (depending on access & machine
used). Stump removal is an inherently hazardous
operation involving powerful grinding machines.
It is the responsibility of the client to locate
& inform us of services that may be damaged
by stump grinding (Water, Gas, Power, Phone, Drainage,
Sprinklers etc) & although all care is taken,
no responsibility can be accepted in this area.

Other articles which may be damaged by flying debris
should be removed from grinding areas or protected,
eg: vehicles, windows, etc. Stump grindings are
normally left on-site (can be removed at extra cost)
& can be spread as mulch, or composted. If replanting
hole, replace grinding’s with topsoil. |

| Extra chipping is charged at a timed
rate & is limited to branches free of debris
(dirt/rocks/nails). If branches are left large &
stacked near access, less time/cost is incurred.
Woodchips are recycled into garden mulch. |
